As for the rest of your post you should be very happy with this news.
Maybe people would be more likely to engage you if you left out all the name calling. Name calling should stop by age 11........13 at the latest. You and a lot of right wing types on here start calling people names before they even have a chance to respond to you. It makes the mature among us question your true motives.

Someone should take their own advice. Posting smug remarks is no different than name calling.

I'm glad you care. I will be very careful of my mistakes for now on.
Let me know if you dream about me tonight.

The post is spot on. If it weren't you'd have ignored me by now.

Why did ANYONE think this guy was going to be an effective president?

He's essentially an empty suit. He came out of a corrupt, single-party town, and NEVER accomplished anything meaningful before he became president.

Allow me to repeat that:

He NEVER accomplished anything meaningful before he became president. NOTHING. He was an absentee junior senator who voted "present" quite a bit of the time. Prior to that, he was a 'community organizer'. Whatever that is is anyone's guess. But I know this -- NEITHER job taught him leadership, and he's NEVER had anything meaningful in his past that he can point to and say "I accomplished that".

Personally, I think the MSM was complicit in perpetuating "the emperor has no clothes" myth. When you compare Obama's bio to the last 11 US presidents, you realize what an empty resume he truly possesses. Just reading the short bios on the White House site underscores how much inexperience he truly has. Here's what the SNL writers....err, White House historians say about #44:

President Obama's years of public service are based around his unwavering belief in the ability to unite people around a politics of purpose. In the Illinois State Senate, he passed the first major ethics reform in 25 years, cut taxes for working families, and expanded health care for children and their parents. As a United States Senator, he reached across the aisle to pass groundbreaking lobbying reform, lock up the world's most dangerous weapons, and bring transparency to government by putting federal spending online.

Yes, those comedic geniuses did just use the words 'unite' and 'transparency' in Barack Obama's bio. Wow. Just wow. To their credit, his bio is limited to a painfully short 6 paragraphs.

And if any of you grousing at one another had an ounce of common sense you'd discuss the matter at hand rather than each other.

In that vein, yes. ObamaCare will go forward for good or for ill (I rather suspect the latter but time will tell) because it will just about be the entirety of Obama's legacy. I think that, not this country, is his primary concern.

One quick note referring back to the mater of blaming Bush which, in itself, shows a lack of class. It began with his inaugural speech with Bush sitting almost right beside him. That was one of the most tasteless things I'd ever witnessed and certainly was change but left me with no hope. In that I have not been disappointed nor had my initial opinion of him disabused.

This thread is good therapy for people who didn't vote for Obama in 2012 and are still angry about the election.

Misery loves company they say.

I don't think he ever actually thinks about his legacy. Other people do and remind him of it, but he could care less. He's a faker, a fraud, a grifter and a carnival barker at a game of chance.

Narcissists can't think more than a few seconds ahead.
