Did you watch the video? The head of the atheist group explicitly stated they wouldn't wear t-shirts. I mean, It's not like religious folks wear crosses everywhere or anything..And what's so scary about a t-shirt identifying an organization? I know, it goes against the silly stereotype that atheists are evil, heartless baby eaters.
How do you think the atheist group would respond to the soup kitchen ministry people coming over and volunteering at one of their events?
Of course they had t-shirts..Do you think they were made just for the soup kitchen?
Of course not. They were made up because they had something to sell.
Quote:
Are atheist groups not allowed to have group insignia made up? Calm down. They weren't going to wear what they already had to the soup kitchen.
Please, tell me what they plan on selling. I've never had an atheist knock on my door or stop me on the street and try to sell me, what exactly? I've had religious groups do that all my life.
Calm down? It's not my beliefs being questioned and it's not me not being able to defend them.

Why make up t-shirts if you have nothing to sell?
Do you have evidence of this..I've been a member of a number of atheist groups which print up shirts has a method to generate event funds and to identify members at specific events. There would be no need to print up t-shirts to go to a soup kitchen. As stated in the video, no shirts were going to be worn.
Again, calm down. Who questioned your beliefs? Giving things to people in need is against your beliefs? Having everybody in the community chip in is against your beliefs? Seriously, calm down.

Yeah, O.K. nothing to sell. LOL
