Oh geez, stop with this nonsense of anarchists and the American Taliban. It gets sickening after awhile.

Just what is the GOP doing by supposedly giving up control to people who want to weaken our country and attacking its people? Just who are you referring to? I have to laugh every time someone doesn't share the ideals of the lefty liberals it is supposedly extremism and out come the insults. Whatever happened to respecting another opinion and freedom of speech? The lefty liberals are the most intolerant people in this country and it is some of their ideals that are weakening country instead.

We'll see how some of them do in the next year or so. Some of them are extremely vulnerable right now, since the neo-conservative/Tea Party agenda has become so widely apparent.

It still doesn't change reality that in the 2012 elections the Democratic party in the received over 17.5million more total votes in the elections for the House, Senate and Presidency combined.

In terms of the new healthcare law, conservatives are terrible at reading the mood of the nation. So I know in conservative land, it is all over, but in the real world, not as much.

I love this new stupid math.. Please provide another example, you know, just for the humor..
It also just goes to show how brain dead our populace has become voting all those Democrats into office.

What have they done lately? I think of that sometimes. "We obstructed, real good." Maybe they can run with that.

I can't think of 1 thing in the last year that had a positive spin for Republicans.
Can you?
Healthcare.gov...

if you think republicans and the tea party are like the Taliban all you are doing is showing your ignorance of what the Talban is and ignorance of what republicans are further creating hate

True, reality is reality, but you do know that conservatives are going to lose some of those Governor's race. Florida, Pennslyvania Michigan are probably gone. Virginia is gone. I forgot to add Maine, which is almost certainly gone for conservatives One more and it is majority Democrats as Governors of states Maybe Ohio, South Carolina?

But Republicans don't win certain states as much as Democratic voters don't turn out for certain elections.

In 2010, there were over 40million fewer total voters than in 2008. It wasn't that conservatives became popular in the elections of 2010. It was that far fewer people voted and the ones who did tended to be older and white, which are two groups that heavily favor the conservatives.

Oh, yes, very impressive numbers!
However, in reality, pretty much meaningless. The TOTAL number of votes cast does nothing to elect anybody. ONLY the votes in each individual contest have meaning. ONLY those votes can elect or not elect a candidate.
I notice a glaring omission: Where are the numbers for "Third Party" candidates? Have the "Third Party" votes cast increased or decreased over the last 6 years? If they have increased, does this indicate a growing discontent with the major parties?
Why don't you be honest and tell the WHOLE story?

This state of affairs cannot stand for long. The whole being against President Obama and hating him thing won't work long term.
The conservative program at the national level is tax cuts for rich people, and increased taxes for poor people, take away tax deductions and credits from middle class people, increase military spending, and destroying medicare and social security for future Americans. Also throw in some anti-birth control, no abortions, cutting aid to poor people, cutting aid for college students.

It is just not an agenda that has any appeal to people outside of the wealthy. They don't want to govern.
And that is the hard truth.
