You know what was said up-thread about some that chose to stay poor?

...Don't ignore me. You made a statement about Obama treating job creators as the enemy...

Justify your statement and ideology with this:

"war on poor"?

So what you are saying is that "the poor" (i.e. government dependents) have first "dibs" on the income and wealth generated by others and can, and should, be able to dictate how much and to whom that purloined wealth should be distributed?

Amazing. Yet libs really believe this crap.

Beggars (employees) can't be choosers.

It's the rich who own the wealth, and the resources with which wealth is created.

.....how are you getting that? Plenty of fat fats get wealth generated by others to help them. Look at the entire military industrial complex.... But hey..... the POOR are the real threat.......

Another, poor ppl be bad.
Corporations and the very wealthy need more money to "trickle down".

The poor will always be the poor because at minimum wage, even if you increase it will still be minimum wage... the only difference is by increasing it, you now put those weren't poor into the poor category because they are now making minimum wage... Do we need all these safety net programs? Of course... are they rampant with abuse?? Yes... so you are arguing that any attempts to stop the abuse which is basically STEALING from the poor is a war on the poor? A liberals stance that we should allow the programs to be abused and the abusers are basically stealing from the poor and that's okay? Who is waging the real war on the poor?

If money really cured poverty, let us give everyone 22 billion billion quatloos, making them “Set for life,” with more than they can ever spend.

What happens if no one bothers to go to work, labor, manufacture, transport, and trade?

Civilization collapses.

D'oh .. . . !
