People who post this notice common traits. Just a little research... There is no cult without a powerful, charismatic leader. A charismatic leader has *the uncanny ability to get people to follow him unquestioningly.

The leader
Charismatic leadership
Deception in recruiting
Use of thought-reform methods
Demand for absolute, unquestioning devotion and loyalty
Sharp, unsurpassable distinction between "us" (good) and "them" (bad)

Techniques employed by "cults
Cult members come from all walks of life, all age groups and all personality types. However, one common thread among most cult recruits is heightened stress. Other common traits are

Dependency
Gullibility - a tendency to believe what someone says without really thinking about it
Low tolerance for uncertainty - thinks in black-and-white terms
Naive idealism - a blind belief that everyone is good
Disillusionment with the status quo, a feeling of marginalization within one's own culture.

Too bad that even though "just a little research" is invariably never enough, you seem to tire too easily to accomplish much more.

Attack anyone who does not hold their leader as "the one".

Let's read from YOUR playbook Petch:

Accuse anyone who supports any part of the Obama Presidency as being part of a cult.

Go.

Closing Guantanamo, Transparency (big one), post-racial, "You can keep your insurance," post-partisan, drone strikes, fast and furious, perpetual admissions of ignorance to the goings on of his administration, etc.

The post-partisan thing is a mixed bag...I won't contest that. The biggest issue for me is the lack of transparency, and the issues with Holder.

His first day in office, he signed an executive Order asking congress to close Gitmo, since by law, they control it, not him.

Transparency is an opinion, not a fact. Can you comparatively say he has been less transparent than other administrations ?

The Post racial one doesnt really make sense. What exactly are you saying ?

As for Insurance, you can keep it. Are you claiming companies did not cancel policies before this year ? You do realize that the cancellation that have come out equal less than 1% of insurance holders right ?

Drone Strikes, again, Where and what in the campaign does this pertain to ? Did he claim he would never use drones ??? same goes for F&F.

And what issue with Holder ?

Sorry, you are very wrong. Anyone who believes that any one man, that any one party is the answer to all problems is a fool. The nazis had a name for these types, "useful idiots".

Anyone who believes that the government has their best interest at heart out of compassion is again... a fool.
