There were Palestinian Jews upwards of the creation of Israel. Then they became Israeli Jews. Arabs are either Christians or Muslims. No Arab would ever admit to following the Jewish faith out of fear of death. But FYI, Islam only looks at one generation back as being a Jew or not. If anyone further back of great grandparents (inclusively) were Jewish they are of no consequence to the current generation. Also under Islam one does not convert, they revert. Because Islam sees all people as starting off as a Muslim and somewhere in time they followed a different path. If one reads the Quran, one will find passages that are written slightly different that come from the OT and the NT.

Default Israel displacing more Muslim Jews from West Bank - Israel to build 1,500 new settlement

I think you mean Arabic/Palistinian Jews. No such thing as "Muslim Jews".

Mohammed was not a Jew.

This is absolutely false. These lies were spread quite recently, all biographies of Muhammad based upon authentic sources confirm that he could not read nor was educated in judaism or christianity.

If you want to discuss religions you have to be serious and that means at least reading the sources you are providing. Your link "The Prophet Muhammad and Earlier Religions, Especially Judaism and Christianity" is a refutation of the view you defend, the author opposes the idea that Muhammad was educated in Judaism and Christianity.

The wikipedia link does not state at all that Muhammad had been taught by rabbis before his claim of prophethood as the other poster suggested. It does not even tackle the issue of his education.

Basically Muhammad said the jews and the christians worship the same God than we do and they are following His messengers. He was never educated in their religions or the biblical stories.

You are not being serious, you do not even read your own links so I after I post this I will not take the discussion further.

Submission.org represents an infamous heretic sect known as "Quranist" who rejects many fundamentals of Islam. If I had to elaborate on how they greatly differ with orthodox Islam it would require an entire new thread. I will just say that they reject the hadiths and that alone suffices. You could not know that as you are an outsider but just observe that they write anonymously which is absolutely contrary to the islamic etiquette of teaching.

Be rational and just admit that what is written in his biography is the truth.

Slightly anti-Islamic and closed minded aren't you?

It's the same as saying a "Muslim Christian", "Muslim Hindu", or "Muslim atheist". Or "Republican Democrat". A bit of an oxymorn.

No Jewish person who converted to Islam or was raised as a Muslim would call himself a Muslim Jew. Many Jews do consider being Jewish an ethnicity -- so you'll find people referring to themselves as secular Jews if they aren't religious, or Messianic Jews if they practice Judaism but accept Jesus as the Saviour, but there is no similar designation accepted by either Judaism or Islam for converts between the two religions. Following the Quran is not compatible with following the Torah in Jewish eyes, so you can't call yourself both. Buddhist practice does not conflict with the Torah, so you can be a Jew and still follow some Buddhist teachings or practices and call yourself a Jew, but if you give up all practice of Judaism, then you're just a Buddhist with Jewish heritage.

Think of it this way. The Jewish culture includes Jewish holidays, even for secular and Messianic Jews. To become a Muslim entails giving up those celebrations. Therefore you give up the center of even the ethnic identity of a Jew except in reference to descent.

Complicated--but so is religion.

So no, you can't be a Muslim Jew. Neither group acknowledges that identity.

The entire OP is really silly. The land in question is part of Israel in the first place, Israelis have every right to build there. Israel occupied that land during a war that 3 Arab countries declared against them. Israel won against an overwhelming enemy. No different than any other country after a war. To say that this isn't Israeli land is like saying that Poland should still be part of Germany. The allies took that land from Germany after WWII.
