Still over $3.50 here in SoCal

Lowest $3.38 for regular, making the cheapest average about $3.50. Some stations are still pushing $5.

You have to remember what Obama said during the debates. Of course gas prices go down during bad economic times. Demand is down because people aren't driving to work!

He actually managed to tell the truth for a change.

The problem is that gas has doubled since 2009, and we were in a huge recession. The oil companies had to raise prices to pay the additional regulatory fees and taxes, along with higher exploratory costs. If he told the truth it was only by accident; even a broken clock is right twice a day.

He also said that energy prices would necessarily rise under his administration. Now THAT, was the truth.

Gas prices nearly always peak during the Summer drop in the Fall.

2008 was the worst drop on record due to the economy crashing. We went from $4.12 during Summer 2008 all the way down to $1.60 during Fall 2008.

Now that the economy has recovered, gas prices are back to levels before the economy crashed.

I thought maybe it was an exception or a gimmick ... but as I continuted to drive up White Horse Pike through Stratford to Berlin, NJ, all the other stations were selling gas at $3.01 a gallon (about 20 cents less than in Philly).

What does gas cost in your city or town? Why have the prices been coming down?

still too high, the price of gas should be under $.99 a gallon.

My parents live in South Jersey. Gas is typically cheaper there than where I live in Maryland. WaWa gas in Jersey is close to $3.00/gal. I wouldn't be surprised if 87 has already slipped below $3.00 up there.

Gasoline is already extremely cheap. Why are you greedy?
