What's already the law? As it stands right now, there is no law against hiring/firing based on sexual orientation (gay/straight/bisexual/asexual)

What special rights for gays are you talking about? The bill sounded like it would make all sexual orientation illegal to discriminate.

Another one to put on the chopping block. NO SPECIAL RIGHTS FOR ANYONE!

What special right?? Not be discriminated and fired because your gay or transgender?

Recent polling conducted by Alex Lundry shows that nearly 70 percent of Americans – including 56 percent of
Republicans – back a federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), legislation that would protect LGBT
people from workplace discrimination.
Republican Mark Kirk is the lead Republican sponsor of the legislation, while

Senator Susan Collins is a co-sponsor. And three Republicans – Kirk, Lisa Murkowsi and Orrin Hatch – voted for
ENDA to advance out of committee this summer.
The data is clear: Republican lawmakers can and do support LGBT employment protections, and they can do so
knowing that their constituents stand behind them.

88% of Fortune 500 companies already cover this in their policies..absolutely no reason to pass a law,its pointless and now another RINO will get a nice big bulls eye put on him when he comes up for re election.Pandering to certain people and classes is the democrat thing not the republican.

What if the application lists the name of the spouse? Wouldn't that be a hint at the spouse's gender and the sexual orientation of the applicant?

You know what I hate? I hate that I can't discriminate against people who believe in god. Why should they get special rights?

It covers discrimination based on all orientations, not just gay. It would cover straight people as well.

Read your own link. There is no law or regulation that covers sexual orientation.

It's no more degenerate to be gay then it is to be black, or white, or anything else you are born with.

Won't hire a deviant no matter what law says.

Rather get on the dole and suck off O'bama's tit.
