Actually, that hasn't been established -- except if one believes hysterical news reports claiming people who "liked their insurance" but actually had worthless policies.

What seems to be more truthful is that those with formerly junk policies will be able to afford real insurance policies and get tax credits and subsidies to afford those policies. In fact, Federal analysts estimated last week that, after subsidies, two-thirds of the uninsured young adults in 34 exchanges around the country could get bargain coverage for less than $100 a month, and almost half could get it for less than $50 a month. The Times also reported that many could get free coverage, after subsidies.

Bob is merely trying to save face after 3 years of championing Obamacare right here on this forum. The gravity of the situation REQUIRES that he defend, deflect, and otherwise perform mental gymnastics lest he look like the idiot that his master Barack Obama has made of him for being a loyal flunkie.

The same goes for MTA.

By the CBO, 30,000,000 will still be uninsured....

Who decides what a "worthless" policy is? You? You parrot it just like every other good leftist....

Please realize that ACAs arbitrary decision as to which insurance policies are allowed to continue or do not qualify as insurance is covered in the language of this "law" and conforms to what your Dear Leader publicly said and repeated in the quoted statement.

As usual, more BS from the left.

Anyone still justifying Obama Doublespeak and Ever-shiftingReality is delusional. The progressive liberal agenda seems to be intentionally trying to destroy the foundation of American freedoms and the premise of individual responsibility/self-determination. MIT economist Jonathan Gruber's comment that the impact of this law on insurance plans is a "social policy decision" illustrates that this was a calculated effect.

The only reason some plans are not offered for sale is because Big Brother told them that their plans do not qualify under Obamacares arbitrary rules as to what is best for people. Without input from anyone outside of the administration of course.

Great example of that mature, tolerant thinking from liberals.

Obama did dumb down his statements to the point of lying. Repeatedly. He is incapable of being responsible for anything that requires actual leadership.

Martin Short did a character that was a spokesman/ lobbyist for the Tobacco Industry or chemical companies who would just be snide with reporters and be very evasive. He should reprise that role as a spokesman for Obama doing a White House Press briefing.
The best part was always where he'd just ignore questions and not answer them but stare at the reporter in silence and smoke a cigarette.

Not want to sell, are forced to not sell.

Even in lefty land this should not be so hard for you to understand. The government told the insurance company's that they are now illegal to sell.
