Do any of you have any constructive comments to make about the fact that the media whitewashes certain crimes or do you prefer to hide behind ad hominem attacks because the truth makes you that uncomfortable?
I know this conservative theme from Rush Limbaugh, to Drudge, Hannity, to Glenn Beck, to OReily, to numerous insane talk radio hosts that black people are running rampant against white people.
I can tell you've never actually listened to any of these people you're just repeating what MSNBC and other black and left-wing blogs tell you they say, which is always taken out of context to elicit maximum knee-jerk reactions from their Obamacrat audience.
Quote:
It shows the rot and cancer at the heart of conservative ideology, that this insane theory gained any purchase with prominent conservatives is pathetic.
I'm curious to know if you're at all aware that the Democrats employ the same kind of racial cancer in order to keep blacks voting Democrat? Does Biden's "they [GOP] want to put blacks back in [slavery] chains" ring a bell? Is that kind of inflammatory rhetoric also insane and crazy?
The Democrats are doing a good job scaring people like you into voting for them with their constant fear-mongering of the imaginary "racist white [i.e. GOP] boogeyman is out to get you!"
The effort to cover up black crime and violence also extends to the government offices and political groups. There is also an effort to encourage black crime and violence by leaders of that group and others as well. Although I encourage the focus on what the person is doing and not race, over the last decade I do see an increasing number of assaults and other crimes. The government local, state and federal seeks not to classify a crime as racial thus such is greatly unreported. It seems the greatest problem is among the young members of any race group and is worse when in a group. The silence of the NAACP on such crimes is an effective and wrongful teaching tool and does not serve the race in a good way.
Well, let’s assume for amount that such is true. Let’s say that there is a conspiracy to not the show the race when the victims are white and the perpetrators are black. Could this have a motive, if true, that serves the greater good, given that whites present a much greater potential threat to blacks than blacks present potentially to whites, backed by empirical evidence?
If think that if news was reported the way that the OP wants it to be, it would be the equivalent of shouting fire in a crowded theater. It could possible unleash the chained monster of violent white racism. There are groups of whites, militias and such, that are heavily armed and train in the woods for an eventually of some kind of internal conflict, a race war being one of them. There are documented cases of people, white, who killed black people in the hopes of triggering an equal and opposite reaction in blacks, thus triggering a race war.
We already exist in a racially charged atmosphere due to a black President and many on the right fearing that he is a threat to their way of life and their Grand Children’s lives. We also exist in an era where the country is becoming more diverse and it looks like going forward that Republicans will not be able to win the presidency again, if current trends of minority growth continue, as they tend to vote for Democrats. Thus, the conservative white male feels under attack already and if you throw in media reports that black crimes against whites are on the increase that could be the thing that breaks free the beast of violent white racism, which is much more dangerous and threating to blacks, as you have groups training and preparing for such.
In light of all that, I think it would be totally irresponsible for the media to present news in a manner that has the potential for creating greater problems. There was a poll that showed that blacks thought that they were doing better and that they were generally more optimistic about America, since Obama was elected president. Hence, what sense does it make that a people, feeling more optimistic, would become more hateful of whites, while at the same time engaging in more intimate relationships with whites? It seems to me that the people to fear are the people who are feeling less optimistic and less in control….which is white males.
I think that some of these posters want to the media to report these stories as such so that they can have the pleasure of seeing the “white monster” released upon black people……once again.
SPJ's guidelines on how not to blame a minority with biased reporting is now being used to "prove" that newspapers are under orders to cover up crime.
I should have seen that coming.
^^^This.
SJP's guidelines are meant to remind the largely white group of journalists to actively seek out positive representations of minorities. And there is not a damned thing wrong with that.
Last June Chicago Tribune senior vice president and editor Gerould Kern admitted the newspaper censors black crime in a rather nasty response to his critics.
Kern stated, "we guard against subjecting an entire group of people to suspicion because of the color of their skin."
His admission of guilt came after a series of brutal racially motivated mob attacks against white people in Chicago. The Chicago Tribune censored the race of the perpetrators and concealed the nature of the attacks.
When critics attacked the Tribune for their coverage, Kern proudly boasted of the papers' censorship and personally insulted the white victims. He ranted, "there is no evidence to suggest that the victims were singled out because of their race."
The LA Times issued an official online statement admitting that it was standard practice in the newspaper industry to censor of the race of minority crime perpetrators.

Tom Kent, deputy managing editor for standards and production at The Associated Press recently admitted that the AP censors black crime.
Last March Kent said that race is not usually mentioned unless it is a "hate crime." As you know, the media rarely declares black on white crime to be a "hate crime." Only the extremely rare white on black crimes are ever considered a “hate crime” in the media.

Philip Corbett, associate managing editor of the New York Times recently confessed to censoring black crime.
Last March, 18 black males aged 16-27 were arrested for allegedly gang raping an 11 year old Mexican girl in Cleveland, Texas.
However the Times completely censored the fact that the perpetrators are black. The newspapers also portrayed those who were supporting the perps as "Texans."

In August of 2010 the Washington Post Ombudsman Andrew Alexander stated that the paper censored race. He said that Weekend News Editor Robert E. Pierre supported the censorship.
The Post came under criticism by readings for censoring black mob violence on the local metro system.
When a mom and daughter were kidnapped, forced to withdraw money from an ATM, raped, then shot last week, the Indianapolis Star played it by the book: Do not mention the suspects are black.
The "book" in this case is written by the Society of Professional Journalists, headquartered just three miles from the scene of the crime. In last month's issue of the SPJ magazine, the oldest and largest organization of journalists in America reminded its members how they should report racial violence:
Don't.
The SPJ story was just repeating what dozens of chapters around the country tell its members in regular seminars: Unless someone is considerate enough to wave around a sign saying, "Kill Honky," or issue a press release or utter racial expletives in front of lots of witnesses, the fact that the suspects just happen to be black has no bearing on the story.
And if you wonder about it, you are probably a "racist and hater," said the SPJ.
A sampling of SJP's "diversity guidelines"–
Guidelines for Countering Racial, Ethnic and Religious Profiling
— Portray Muslims, Arabs and Middle Eastern and South Asian Americans in the richness of their diverse experiences.
— Do not represent Arab Americans and Muslims as monolithic groups. Avoid conveying the impression that all Arab Americans and Muslims wear traditional clothing.
— Make an extra effort to include olive-complexioned and darker men and women, Sikhs, Muslims and devout religious people of all types in arts, business, society columns and all other news and feature coverage, not just stories about the crisis.
— When writing about terrorism, remember to include white supremacist, radical anti-abortionists and other groups with a history of such activity.
Please step out of that stupid little RWNJ bubble you currently live in.
I live in a pretty diverse town. What's an RWNJ bubble? I'm sorry if the truth offends you but ignoring it or pretending it doesn't exist won't make it go away.
