There really should be a reason for laws as there shouldnt be discrimination period to anyone.
How is providing equality pandering except it only to the state employees as the VGA should follow suit but maybe there will be change that day will come.

Right, but didn't you claim that "gun owners" have special rights or something? Since when were "gun owners" their own class of citizen in this country?

Tell me something, are you white, black, or gun owner?

See how silly that sounds?

Hey,when are fat people going to to get any rights?

I don't want to be discriminated against either,so where is the law?

Unlike gay people, you can see that someone is fat. Its in your face! We are what? 70% of the population.

I'm not against the Virginia law,I support it. But still....

wish people would understand that executive orders do not make laws. they just make the implementation of laws passed by a congress easier.

this executive order should not even exist.

What part of federal discrimination laws do people not understand?
What part of freedom of religion do you not understand?

"Freedom of religion" does not allow you to discriminate against those who are different than you. Seems like the religious right like to twist that phrase every now and then to suit whatever cause they support at the moment.

Sexual orientation is not a part of it.

The Employment Non-Discrimination Act – known as ENDA – would bar employers with 15 or more workers from using a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity as the basis for making employment decisions, including hiring, firing, compensation or promotion. Religious institutions and the military would be exempted.

Its treat everyone equal, if the house lets this bill die then the president should follow this governor suit and issue an executive order like he did with DADT.
