"A man was charged with murder in the second degree, manslaughter and possession of a firearm in the death of Renisha McBride, Michigan's Wayne County Prosecutor's Office said Friday.
Prosecutor Kym Worthy announced the charges against Theodore Paul Wafer, 54, who allegedly shot the 19-year-old woman in the face on his porch in Dearborn Heights, Mich. in the early hours of Nov. 2.
"We obviously do not feel that the evidence in this case reveals that the defendant acted in lawful self defense," Worthy said."
I would like to know how ANYONE knows what her intentions were if she can't tell anyone. How does her family know? If they knew, then she called them and then there was no reason for her to seek help anywhere else.
A toxicology report released Thursday showed that she had a blood alcohol content of almost .22, more than double the legal limit for driving. She tested positive for marijuana, though the report recommended a second test to confirm.

I still want to know how ANYONE knows that she was asking for help. HOW??????? There are NO facts that suggest such a thing, NONE! The house she went to was 4 BLOCKS away! Why did she go so far? Why is there a 2 hour gap between the accident and when she was shot? Was there another car involved?
It has been reported that this woman was on alcohol and on pot. Look up the side effects of THC and alcohol. Add the affects of an accident. Perhaps that is why she sounded threatening. Look up "knockout" game and "polar bear hunting". Maybe we should all stop playing games and work on respecting the property, personnel space, and rights of others. So sorry this person was a victim of the society she was born into.

ok...6.. Why so far? Nobody home within that radius? Did she knock on EVERY door in that 6 block radius? Something just isn't right about any of this. It is extremely strange for their family and everyone else to SPECULATE that she was asking for help. I really doubt she was. She KNEW she was drunk and getting help would mean that she would be arrested for a DWI. She wasn't injured that bad to go 6 blocks.
