Members of a Confederate group in Virginia were upset after the excavator used to build a display honoring the flag alongside Interstate 95 was stolen.

“This is not going to stop,” Virginia Flaggers member Grayson Jennings told WWBT-TV. “We better not catch whoever is doing it. That’s all I have to say.”

What is the black market value of a parted out excavator? Is there chop shops dedicated to parting these out? Do they sell the parts via Craigslist or do they get shipped overseas somewhere?
