" Didn't Obama Say that We Could Keep Our Health Coverage?"

Yes, he did.
He lied.
Then, he (sort of) apologized for lieing about it.

He misspoke ?
He didn't say that ?
What he meant was ....?
And then...I'm sorry.

So he said he's sorry. There, it's over.
Now suck it up and pay for your new plan at increased prices.

Didn't anyone notice that his lips were actually moving when he said it?

That should have been a dead giveaway that he was lying.

Who is the liar here? Did you just lie?

If he closed it without congress I think it would be against the law and impeachment proceeding's would start. The GOP led do nothing Congress is blocking the closing of Gitmo.

Guantanamo Bay To Stay Open As House Blocks Bill To Close Infamous Prison

Quote:
WASHINGTON -- A worsening hunger strike and a fresh plea by President Barack Obama to close the Guantanamo Bay prison fell on deaf ears in Congress Friday, as the House of Representatives voted to keep the increasingly infamous jail open. The House voted to make it harder for Obama to begin shifting inmates, adding a restriction to the National Defense Authorization Act of 2014 that bars any of the roughly 56 prisoners who have been cleared by military and intelligence officials to be sent to Yemen from being transferred there for one year. Some 30 other Gitmo inmates of the 166........

He was going to slide that one in, and pretend that is what the President was talking about. I would say that is typical from the rightwingers.

A pretty darn expensive policy. Remember the hearings when we were all told by the Dems that birth control should be free on ACA because that $5 per month was just too much of a burden? Now Obama and his ilk are defending the high cost ACA plans. Hypocrisy anyone?

People with existing conditions were being rejected, and when they went to the ER somebody had to pay. Again it was not the fault of the some of the uninsured since the insurance companies did not want to insure them. The ACA fixes that issue.

The cost will likely go down with more people with insurance. A young person can now afford insurance. It's strange for people with insurance and also having their children insured telling young people that they do not need insurance.
