In fact, many Americans have had to travel overseas for procedures that were just too expensive to have performed here. Our system is broken and doing nothing is not a option.
We haven't been doing nothing. Government has been interfering endlessly in the health care market for 3/4 of a century. The problems we have are the RESULT of government "doing something". Why you think more of the problem is the solution is beyond comprehension.

Try and take government created Medicare away from Americans and see the reaction. Paul Ryan experienced the backlash during the last election. You are thoroughly and soundly brainwashed by the likes of Limbaugh and Beck and who knows what other hypocritical and lying nutjobs and frauds that rely heavily upon the ignorance of others.

You really should investigate living off the grid...totally...because judging by most of your posts, there is nothing that the government does that is beneficial to the populace. You will have to send up your own communication satelllite if you still intend to post on internet forums, but I'm sure that you have figured out how to bypass all government infrastructure.

I don't care what other nations think because none of them know the truth about the U.S.'s exceptional healthcare system.

Non-Americans come to the USA for the most advanced life-saving surgery, they don't go to those other progressive countries where healthcare is supposedly superior to ours.

Lol! From FOX News.
I didn't even finish it yet, and already found lie upon lie.
America doesn't have the most smokers...it's not even in the top 20.
America does better in treating SOME major cancers, not all.

Maybe they don't know because they don't watch Fox news? So maybe stuff thats only reported on Fox news doesn't actually get reated as real? Sort of like something only the Huffington Post reports on.

Anyway, if American heaalthcare is so good, why don't people come to the US for healthcare? Why do 600 times as many americans go to Canada for health care, as the number of Canadains comicng to the US? Why do 10 times as many Americans leave America for healthcare as the number of people comeing to the US for healthcare if the system is so good?

True. What is more, there are countries whose total burden of lifestyle issues are similar to the US -less obesity, more smoking, alcohol etc- and they do far better than the US on lifespan, healthy life years etc.

Scott Atlas is a oncologist who wrote that infamous "10 points" article. Exactly why he still has a medical license is more than I can understand.

That article needs to be treated like a SNL Fox News Skit.
"Our fact-checkers have been hard at work and we would like to make the following corrections."
The about a hundred things race down the screen, faster than the eye can see.

Shouldn't divorce then, if she can't handle the consequences. Now, she wants me to pay for her health care.
