I think we can all agree on one thing. gay marriage is the least important issue of our time. quite possibly the least important issue in the history of this nation.

It is very important to the gay population and to people that realize that discrimination is just plain wrong and that each person's civil rights must be protected.

I personally can think of many other things less important, like Obama golf trips.

Dammit, I just heard about this and was hoping I could get here and post before the misguided started posting....but they beat me to it.

Oh well, doesn't matter. The facts are the facts, and the fact is that this is a great victory for true Americans who believe in freedom and equality.

To me, the whole argument for legalizing same-sex marriage centers around "your pursuit of happiness". Having the right to marry the one you love falls under your pursuit of happiness. This applies to all marriages, not just marriages between a man and a women. Today is a great day!

providing unearned welfare benefits to a minute minority is less than unimportant. it's utterly worthless.
