Most traditional names are also multi racial. There are no typical white names.

My dad wanted to name me Olympia. My mom said no and I ended up with one of the popular 1950's names.

My own kids are named simple names that were both popular and universal, although I didn't know HOW popular at the time.

My first name is Julian which is obvious by my name here on City Data and my last name is a twelve letter Greek name.
My father was a second generation American from two Greek parents and my mother was a second generation American from two German parents.

The equates to my ability to make a precision and quality built Gyro with tasty cucumber sauce and that I have sense enough to drink Beer from the Fatherland.

What's in a name?

That which we call a rose by any other name would stink as bad...

... or is that...

... smell as sweet.

Too much is being attributed to a name.

Its a proven fact that the black culture names may make them feel special but it company's will usually not hire people with dumb names. The black culture prides itself on not being part of the system but then get all mad and its racist that they are not as accepted. Sorry but you stand outside by your own will and then complain your outside, its not white Americas fault, its your fault. This is the very problem that the Black culture will not address. Its the Black culture that causes 99% of its own problems.

I agree that common English names are used in other romance languages...but Cody, or Colt are used predominately by Anglo couples.
