I didn't include men, because we know for a fact liberals have zero respect for men, and a man's body. that being said, I disagree with you. "most" is a massive exaggeration. I would say it's well under 50% of liberals who support legalized sex selling.
And I would say that well under 5% of conservatives support it too.

Prostituion, an institution made up of woman who are largely victimized substance abusers who take up prostitution as a means of survival (it's not a career choice for nearly all of them), many of whom fall prey to sex trafficking, abuse by their clients and extortion and according to about 100 years of studies and literature on the subject, furthers a culture of misogyny, inequality and objectification of women in our society. And apparently to you, the exact same thing as abortion and gay marriage.

I get it, I think you don't get it.
Prostitution isn't a freedom, it's a predicament, people make reasoned arguments backed by data (ones that aren't based upon their religious views) that it's bad for society.
I have no idea what prostitution possibly has to do with gay rights or abortion; but feminists have a tremendous power base within The Democratic Party (I'm assuming this is largely who you're referring to by "liberals"), and there are many feminists who view human sexuality through an inflexible gender-based political lens. For them, prostitution is equated with male sexual and economic dominance.
Just like The Republican Party, The Democratic Party often does a poor job of policing its outlier ideologies.

Comparing prostitution and abortion is just so simple-minded as to be absolutely ridiculous.
Sometimes I do think prostitution should be legalized. But the problem is that it can spread disease, to say nothing of the physical and emotional harm it inflicts. Abortion is a solo medical procedure; it causes none of this.
