Perhaps because, even if they happen to be rich themselves, do not favor helping the wealthy by further impoverishing the poor. Actually I think liberals dont hate the rich so much as the politicians who pander to them.

Oddly enough, the folks who say something similar to what you have said are also the folks who argue against reducing the debt load of college students.

Now, what type of high-paying occupation would you reccomend for a person graduating high school that does not require a higher education?

Maybe part of the problem is that so many employers still insist on a college degree for work that a high-school or vocational-school graduate could easily perform.

I see someone changed my thread title.

I specifically mentioned the greedy rich, not the generous rich. I find liberals and conservatives alike liking generous people more.

I've been trying for years to get these "I hate the Rich" folks to state Exactly what they consider "Rich".
I've never gotten an answer to that question.
