Well, isn't that special? When people bring up the prohibition of trimming breads, eating shellfish or wearing mixed fabrics, the bangers trot out "Oh, but that was the Old Testament. It doesn't count!"
However, when gay marriage rears its head, the first thing these same people say is "God said it's an abomination! It's in the Old Testament!"

If you can't handle it, please leave for somewhere you'll be more comfortable. Because honestly, you don't add anything productive to society's advancement.

Uhhhh. Maybe they didn't teach sex ed in your school, but sodomy can also occur between a man & woman - in fact, they're the ones doing most of it.
And again I ask, have you read the Bible in Hebrew? Because it says NOTHING of gay people, in fact the word homosexual doesn't even exist in Hebrew. But I already know you're another one of those cherry-picking Christians, who believes whatever your local Pastor told you... when really, the story of Sodom & Gomorrah has zero to do with gay people. ZERO. Not that the Bible has any relevance to our laws, so I don't really give a hoot what you've chosen to believe (or how you've misunderstood the Bible).

Yeah, the bible is full of men having sex with children, offering their children up to be gang raped, and all kinds of deviant behavior. Especially that Lot guy. Disgusting really.
Fortunately, we live in a civilized era where that sort of wicked biblical behavior is illegal.
Let's review:
Marriage between two consenting, unrelated adults: Legal.
Raping your children or offering them up to be raped: Not legal. Never will be. Kinda gross that it's in the bible so many times.
I used to live in a small town with a few liberal activists, who were insufferably smug. At our annual summer festival (two weeks before labor day), he (the librarian) was off yammering at the Republican Women's tent, being his usual obnoxious self. I was picking through the tables of books for sale from the library right next to their booth and finally got tired of his screed.
He was going on about how "gay marriage" was a right just as I turned around. I said "no, it's not a right".
"YEs it is".
"No, it isn't. If marriage were a right, the state would have no say in who can get married - just like it can't decide who gets free speech and who doesn't". But you're not trying to make it a right, you just want to change who the state says is allowed and who isn't."
The guy stood there for a while, unable to find any response, while the old ladies at the booth snickered at him, and finally he stormed off to the Democrat tent, presumably looking for a retort.
Which is true. Democrats no more believe in marriage as a right, than conservatives do. They just disagree on WHO gets married.
When Democrats insist that ANYONE and EVERYONE can can get married, including siblings and other unsavory combinations, with the blessings of the state, THEN they can claim marriage is a right. Until then, they're just trying to demagogue the issue, making accusations of discrimination. Well, of course, marriage IS discrimination. After all, we deny it to lots and lots situations, and liberals generally support that idea.
