It does not alter the fact, we had laws, and there were enforcement, and the Irish obeyed those laws.

And the Irish were worried the Blacks who were being set free would take their jobs. That turned out to be a false worry for the Irish that was used to help fuel hatred and fear....sound familiar?

No, not really, the spoke English and generally had the same world views,(getting ahead on their own, freedom, liberty wealth creation and getting that by their own means, not but voting for someone to give it to them at the expense of another)

Have you ever been around old school Irish people, they are saying something, but it ain't always English. You should hang around some old school Irish neighborhoods in Boston and see how hard it is to understand what everyone is saying. Also, by "same world views" you mean European? So as long as they are WASPs you are cool with them.

Oh and Irish politicians tend to be Democrats and Irish tend to vote for Democrats.

No they should not, they are breaking the law, why should Americans have less representation?

Like I said I am the biggest supported of E verify, and massive fines and loss of business licence after the 3rd offence.

Funny which party killed a bill that would make E verify mandatory?

So basically you realized you worked your way into the corner and you are choosing to deflect because you didn't realize that the majority of Irish vote Democrat.

Not sure which bill you are talking about seeing it is legal for states to use E verifying.

I ve always wondered about this.

Why can't the farmers rent buses and pick up Americans who are willing to work on farms, say,in the inner cities of LA,for example?
