There wasn't an "under God" in the pledge until the 40s or 50s I believe.
Most folks I know don't care, or really even look at their money. I use mostly my cards, which have no mention of God. I can't say there is no God, or that there is one. The only real answer is, I don't know.
Fact is if you Trusted in God it hasn't worked real well...
And "god" doesn't pay the bills...MONEY does.
I have trusted in God and it has worked out. Thanks to His Grace I have a healthy family, a loving wife, two great kids, a roof over their heads, food on the table, and the means to keep my family that why while helping others. It didn't take money to do this, it took my faith in my Lord and Savior.

There's a lot of people who don't believe in god that have all the things you just mentioned including faith in something.
