Easy why should we live in a high crime, high tax, high gun law area? Why should we live in a area were the vast majority of people don't share our views and beliefs and actively vote to destroy them?

That is a false statement, this is a free country and Americans should live where they feel most comfortable, but if someone who doesn't match your idea of "like minded" should also be allowed to live where you life if they choose to do so.

Detroit and Illinois are run by liberals, and not surprisingly Detroit elects criminal mayors and Illinois elects criminal governors.

Seattle, Minneapolis, and Boston are basically liberal cities and none of those cities are electing criminal mayors. Denver is a liberal city, and no criminal mayors, at least not compared to Chicago and Detroit.
