I'm not offended. You can believe whatever you want to believe. My impression is that before 1964 public prayer in classrooms was pretty common. Look it up.
Why would I care what happened a half century ago?
Christians are constantly being attacked, hated and persecuted in the US. War on Christmas is one example, removed of public prayers, public religious symbols, etc.

I am also unaware of any "hate speech" law. I never in my life ever heard of anyone being arrested for "hate speech."
Didn't the US Supreme Court itself rule on the side of the Westboro Baptist Church? I mean I hear a lot of "hate" speech out there but has anyone broke any law or arrested for it? Can someone please educate me on this, citing a trustworthy and reputable source and not some crack-pot extremist organization?
The wikipedia has a good overview of various attempts to regulate "hate speech". There is a long history of attempts, not typically at the federal level, to limit speech judged inflammatory or discriminatory.

There is no war on Christmas. YOU can celebrate Christmas however you want. YOU can put mangers, and donkeys and crosses and angels all over your yard or church. YOU can pray when ever, and where ever, you want.
What you can not do is push your beliefs on others, and use the government or government property for your personal religious soap box.
