Christians are constantly being attacked, hated and persecuted in the US. War on Christmas is one example, removed of public prayers, public religious symbols, etc.

Didn't the US Supreme Court itself rule on the side of the Westboro Baptist Church? I mean I hear a lot of "hate" speech out there but has anyone broke any law or arrested for it? Can someone please educate me on this, citing a trustworthy and reputable source and not some crack-pot extremist organization?
The wikipedia has a good overview of various attempts to regulate "hate speech". There is a long history of attempts, not typically at the federal level, to limit speech judged inflammatory or discriminatory.

There is no such thing as citizen sovereignty; nor are there any absolute rights.

Good lord, where have you been?

This isn't even a question, it's simply a historical fact.

Because the thread -- YOUR thread -- is about the history of free speech. Oh, and it proves that you're completely wrong.

Other than that, well, no, I guess you wouldn't care.

There is no war on Christmas. YOU can celebrate Christmas however you want. YOU can put mangers, and donkeys and crosses and angels all over your yard or church. YOU can pray when ever, and where ever, you want.
What you can not do is push your beliefs on others, and use the government or government property for your personal religious soap box.
