FF/retail has a 75% turnover rate.

You're all acting like these are slave workers making no money.
This is the US folks.
Walmart, just like Target, Kohl's and Macy's is doing nothing wrong and are following all the laws.

Just like our slave-owning founders, eh?

End of thread.
Here's a incidence that will show that private charity will probably work just like it's supposed to.

End of stupid remarks (One can hope)

This is off-topic, to say the least.

However, don't worry. Your precious walmart didn't lose any money; they will be reimbursed by the feds (in other words, us).

However, if someone has drive and ambition, they can rise up through the ranks and make an outstanding salary. Walmart is one of the few companies where a non-educated person could become a store manager and make over 100K. Their truck drivers make six figures as well.
Amen, 90,000 promotions annually-2/3 to non degreed staff. Try finding that ratio elsewhere, let along the quantity.

And yet you guys are missing the 3rd party in the equation while playing your politically charged class warfare games.

If you want to blame someone, then blame the average american citizen that shops at walmart. If people really gave a sh*t that these people are making minimum wage then they'd not shop there but in fact, they like the cheap prices.

I'd personally love to buy you a beer and sit at a table with my cousins that work jobs like teacher, prison guard, nurses aide etc. that walmart workers in their town should make a living wage (which would be getting up towards what they make).

Have you even been in a walmart lately? If not, do so. I suspect the experience will be eye-opening. There is a reason they aren't working literally across the street at Costco making $20/hr with health benefits etc.

Actually I see it more as a result of unskilled workers choosing to have large families they clearly can't support. There are well paying jobs in Walmart, however you need skills in order to get those jobs.

I wonder if any company has ever provided a greater economic benefit to their customers? God bless ya, Wal-Mart.
