Another choice not on the list was LBJ. He was consistently opposed to civil rights during the 50's and switched sides for the 64 civil rights act. A very credible source, Air Force One steward Robert MacMillan, quoted LBJ as saying "I'll have them [n-word] voting Democratic for two hundred years."

It would not have been out of character for LBJ

A historian who studied dirty campaigns rated LBJ's 1964 campaign as the worst in history.

Loads of dirty tricks.

LBJ's campaign portrayed Goldwater as KKK in the north, as pro-civil rights in the south. They sent phony letters to Ann Landers, had E. Howard Hunt report as a volunteer for Goldwater, etc. LBJ was a complete scuzzball who makes Obama look like a saint.

Whose lies?

Both parties.

Is it not obvious to informed people that both parties overwhelmingly supported Afghanistan - that both parties overwhelmingly voted for it? That Obama escalated the war in Afghanistan and has ~75% of the casualties on his watch?

Is it not obvious to informed people that big name Democrats supported the war in Iraq? Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Joe Biden, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, etc...until they flip flopped and many of which lied and said they voted against it? Is it not obvious to informed people that the Democrats in the Senate could have blocked and prevented Iraq, but MOST of them voted for it?

Obama has had a pretty consistent liberal ideology. You might not like it but it is fairly consistent. Mitt Romney was a liberal in Massachusetts, then a conservative in the primaries then who knows in the election. He is also a Harvard educated lawyer who claimed not to know what Griswald v. Connecticut is so he could avoid a question in a debate. That is disingenuous. I would have much rather seen Gingrich win because he had principles in which he believed and advocated for in a clear and passionate way. Even Sarah Palin suggested Romney was a "finger in the wind politician." Thus in terms of being disingenuous Romney beats out everyone.

Too bad I'm not a democrat... nice try, though

It happened under the Bush/Cheney administration, and they were the ones who pushed it. They were the executives that disseminated faulty and false information to the rest of the GOP and Democrats. So yes, they were worse liars than Obama.

What has Obama been consistent on?

He ran as the anti-Bush and is Bush 3.0.

Are you saying Bush was liberal?

NSA.

Renewed Patriot Act.

More Drone bases, flying over more countries, violating more air spaces, with more collateral damage.

Was For gay marriage as State Senator, against Gay marriage as a US Senator, then for Gay marriage again as a US president when the pendulum swung on favor for it.

More lobbyists in the WH.

Still special access for big donors.

More earmarks after campaigning to reduce them by veto if necessary.

The government will still bail out big companies per legal policy.

This guy has no consistency and out Bushes Bush on most issues.

In terms of basic ideology Obama has been reasonably consistent. His approach to government spending, the environment, trade, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. Obama ran as a center left Democrat and is basically a center left Democrat.

Here is a question for you. Can you tell me what ideology Romney has? Is he severely conservative as he claims, is he, or is does he think Reagan was too conservative as he also has claimed? What is Mitt Romney's ideology really? Can you tell me?

Democrats that voted for it share the same blame. Just like Republicans that voted for Clinton's damaging policies that started on his watch deserve equal blame.

Was Bill Clinton lying when he said Saddam was working on WMD?

Were Iraqi Generals that were captured lying when all of them said Saddam had WMD?

That is BS.

Obama has not been consistent on those things. He has not been consistently liberal. He has flip flopped as much as Romney.
