Why? The son assaulted his father with a knife, and when he saw what he had done, he picked up a gun and shot himself. That's how I picture it. No one in the Western world commits suicide with a knife.
If it had been an R, they'd be all over it in this forum.
And they wonder why we laugh at them.
Nobody wonders why some people laugh because everybody knows that some people laugh at everything, probably because they don't have the good judgment to just be quiet.
I've been hearing people complain that mental health treatment in this country has been eroded, resulting in some of the mentally il being let loose on society, the theater shooting, grade school shooting and Rep. Giffords come to mind, and now maybe even this story too.
