Tell that to the people who had an oops. I think we all know of someone that it happened to.
Actually, I don't know anyone that had that happen. But then again, most of the people I know follow directions.
The pill, according to the CDC has a failure rate of 0.3% when used properly (tubal ligation has a .5% failure rate; Essure has a .26% failure rate). Condoms-2% when used properly (the rhythm method has a 9% failure rate when used properly; male sterilization has a .1% failure rate).
Really? Before the pill people would think twice or a lot more times before having sex, now they hardly think at all. The pill and the condom is not 100%, never was but it is sold that way.
where do you get your ideas from the pill and the condom are not sold or advertised as 100% effective. before the pill people did not think twice try look at the birth rate and adoption rates pre pill. you also had tons of "good girls" going into marriages that eventually failed just so the couple could engage in sex. get your head out of the sand

Her agenda clouds any sound or logical judgment. It also clouds facts.
Sure, if it is for the safety of my health, I am open to any advice.
I highly doubt anyone who reads life news would pay attention to advice about their reproductive system and sex life if that advice came from a non-Catholic feminist.
Though watching a room full of of those people.... sitting together..... listening to a lecture from Dr. Ruth.... that would make a TON of money on pay-per-view.

Are you a non-Catholic feminist? I think I have enough education to listen to them and then make up my own mind on what I need to do as it pertains to my situation but yes I would also look to a spiritual counselor for advice, after all I am more than just a body part.
I know, some seem to worry endlessly what OTHERS are doing with their bodies. Maybe you should stop that, and worry about YOUR OWN life.
