But....but....but...we couldn't vote for McCain because he'd keep us in Afghanistan indefinitely and try to start other wars. Oh....wait

Not surprisingly, there's a different story in the non-RW news:White House says no apology planned for Afghanistan

Not surprisingly, the rObotic leftists are here to deflect. The apology thing is hardly the main part of the story here.

O used up all this month's allotment of apologies for Afghanistan that's why he didn't really apologoze to America for the obamacare disaster.

With Obama's chronic incompetence he had better brush up on apologies and get some help from his Hollywood buddies on how to pretend to be sincere when he does 'apologize'.

Afghanistan was Obama's 'good war'. Too bad he can't divide and conquer Afghanistan as successfully as he did America.

But we know the Robotic Rightists will be making lame-ass attempts to make it a big part of the story as history repeats itself.

Do you have anything else to offer here besides weak deflection? Would you care to discuss the fact that Obama is extending our involvement in Afghanistan indefinitely or will you just continue your asinine deflection? These are rhetorical questions of course......

I figured this would happen all along.

Democrats and Republicans are all the same. If you want to quit playing world police, if you want to balance the budget without hurting the economy, if you support the troops and want to see them home.....

Then you have to push for deep and drastic defense cuts.

The asinine deflection here is yours. WHERE is your feigned concern over troops being left in other countries by people other than Obama? You do realize we still have troops in Germany, Japan, Korea, etc., eh? Personally, I'd like to see our presence reduced in many places but that's not what we do.

If Obama pulled the troops you'd be whining he was deserting the Afghans.

Your whine is a broken record: "Obama's wrong, what's the topic?"

Fact of the matter is, we are not going to be out of Afghanistan in 2014, nor by the end of 2016. I know, I know, his previous statements on Afghanistan were just misunderstood, should have been clearer. Heck, even the White House messaging needs work. But, he never lied. No sirree Bob, he did not mislead the American people.

From Time Afghan Endgame | TIME.com , Feb 2013, "President Obama declared in his State of the Union address Tuesday night that 34,000 U.S. troops now in Afghanistan will come home within a year. That will slash the total U.S. troop presence there from the current 66,000 to 32,000.

“This drawdown will continue, and by the end of next year our war in Afghanistan will be over,” Obama declared, as Vice President Joe Biden rose and applauded behind him..."

Politico had some interesting insight into Obama going back 9 years in their 2011 article, President Obama's Afghanistan speech reveals war that no longer seems so smart - Glenn Thrush - POLITICO.com

"Obama’s “dumb” vs. “smart” war meme, first outlined in his October 2002 speech as an unknown state senator, didn’t seem to be far from his thoughts. Now as then, he made the argument for extricating the country from an unpopular war without losing political face — or bitterly won gains against Al Qaeda."

On top of that Americans need to wake their a**es up and stop voting for the warmongers in both parties, do their research and vote for 3rd parties!
