I don't see anywhere this is anything to do with liberals or conservatives, besides a deluded daily 15 minutes of rage by Beck again.

Quite a number of sources are not happy with this stupid policy. (Dad Arrested for Complaining About School's Absurd Pick-Up Policy) (Tennessee school safety officer arrests parent for calmly objecting to pick-up policy - Boing Boing)

Granted, the officers job is to enforce the law...no matter how stupid it is or if they agree. The arrest and not letting the guys wife even get their keys to their house is out of line. I can see why they want an orderly line, as there is an elementary school near where we first bought our house and it was chaos during the end of the day at a larger school. It was just a fact of life till people started behaving badly, including an accident where a child was hurt and even a frustrated person stabbing another who butted in line when they were late.

A problem solved the wrong way, with two frustrated and overworked people butting heads. Not a recipe for anything good.

I know, I was thinking, isn't this a red state and a red county? Must mean the Cons are trying to beat the Liberals to being a police state because they love authority controlling them so much.

Yup - the whole South is known for being a hotbed of liberalism.

That alone, tells you enough about the OP.

Alas, I hope this "Deputy" gets in trouble for being a mindless moron who lacks any and all common sense.

The Deputy was probably one of those brain dead 47% Romney voters.

Wow, that still shot shows a long line of cars.

I'm hesitant to comment on stuff like this because I never know the entire context relating to the supposed outrageous act by the police involved.

I'm guessing if a police officer was there at the school, then there might be some history of parental confrontations to all of this, because why would a school need an on duty officer otherwise?

The school could solve the problem by having a walking parent pick up line, the drive up pick up line, and the bus line. That's what my sons school does.

Funny how to attribute the local police's job is to enforce the law, but give Obama and Holder a pass on that very thing. That is the very definition of a hypocrite.

It only took 10 posts for someone to involve Obama into this silly thread. Though bonus points for including Holder.
