It makes weak-minded people feel better if they can point to one or two boogeymen as the scapegoat for all of societies ills. The childish boogeyman-theory makes dummies feel better.....the total disarray has an explanation, it is no longer so scary and illogical.

Truth be told, there is really so many boogeymen......it actually means there is realistically no one boogeyman to point your finger at. So many chinks in the armor or this once fine country, tons of blame to go around.

I'm nor liberal or conservative but I do have views on both sides of the spectrum, it is called being an independent thinker. Please share with all of us one progressive non-american that has as much media clout as Murdock does in this country. I mentioned the Koch brothers because they are the only people that I know of that not only started a movement (teaparty) that has a large majority of people thinking in lockstep against their best interest and the fact that they have politicians from all levels of the government in their backpockets. If you can provide any evidence of any progressive billionaire that has as many politicians in lockstep with their beliefs I'm willing to hear it.

And I might add that since the American public has been systematically been "dumbed down" over the last twenty or so years and refuse to research the truth on their own.......Heaven help us!

Fair question. Soros does not have the media empire like Murdock does. Soros does not have a united rabid following like the Koch brothers have either.

Obama is just a salesman, a puppet. That is it.

The same thing applies to them as well. Do they have a large ill-informed following or have a media empire? If neither of these apply, then I guess that it is a mute point.

Every president since Kennedy has been someone's puppet so what makes Obama so special except your hate for him? Do you really think that Bush was his own man? Hell he was getting bullied by Cheney

Then why is the left in charge when the right is so powerful according to you?

I'm not defending Obama but apparently you are repeating the same tired saying that Mitt and other republicans have been pushing since the election. And they wonder why people say the republicans hate poor people

Thank you for proving my point of being blindly lead by right wing media despite the facts being right in front of you.

I'm weak minded because I pointed out the most powerful of the boogeymen? Actually I'm more concerned about those like yourself who are led so easily eventhough the facts that are right in front of your face. Murdock, Koch, Soros ect. can only throw money into the media (which Murdock owns a big part of) to get you to believe whatever crap that they are peddling in their own best interest, rather you believe it or not without researching the truth is on you.

I agree with you on this one, like I said before I just pointed out the most powerful ones.

Do you mean the presidency? This means nothing if he does not control the House, Senate and the Supreme Court as well. This is the basis of why our government was setup the way that it was.

One thing that always bothered me is the fact that many people are willing to follow a nonAmerican citizen so blindly without question. How many of you really believe that Murdock has our best interest at heart?
