He's not lying on this one... only the Right are getting rich in this redistribution of wealth.

The middle got crapped on, and we'll always have the poor.

He bails out the 1%, and fits "Right" in with the elite of the world.

His personal wealth has increased over 800 % while destroying the middle class.

Way to go O'nothing.

U6 unemployment was up by .2 percent in October. So yes we lost jobs. U6 is still at 13.8 pct, down only slightly from the peak of 17.1 in Nov 2009. And it is still at least 5 points higher than typical for the US economy over the past 30 years. In other words more than 50 percent higher than it should be under a healthy US economy. It is at a level that is closer to the norm for EU countries.

We all want more growth, and though I've never voted for Obama, still I am aware while we abhor a roughly US 2% GDP growth rate, the EU would consider that heaven these days, as they are under 1%. We are doing very well relative to other fully developed, mature, first world nations.

We could (should) be doing better - is all I have to say (ie, see post #11).

If you don't mind, I'd rather not be comparing to a caboose.

The entire remainder of the first world is the caboose right now. I'm delighted. I thought after the Great Recession, we'd still be looking at negative GDP right now.

U6 Unemployment Rate | Portal Seven

Hilary won't get elected if these numbers don't change big time by the time 2016 rolls around.

If I know this administration, I have a feeling the unemployment numbers will take a sharp nosedive right before the election.

Well done, Mr. President.

And that's "no kidding".
We are not talking about entitlement programs here we are talking about the economy. Increasing your food stamps is not improving the economy there hoss.

Well, it really might nosedive. Remember, Summer of Recovery Part VI will be realized by Nov '14.
