What conservatives have known for years, has now even become apparent to the New York Times, only three years after it was signed into law.

The main function of Obamacare is not health care - we already had that. It is redistribution of wealth - taking money away from people who earn more, and giving it to people who earn less. Health care is merely the excuse.

If the Obamanites had told the truth about their signature program, would it have ever been passed by the House and Senate?

For that matter, would Obama have even been re-elected in 2012?

In fact, if he had told the truth about what he wanted to impose on the country... would he have been elected the first time, in 2008?

The American people have never wanted his or any other brand of socialism. And the liberals knew it. But that didn't stop them. Ruling against the will of the people is the only way they could impose their agenda on us.

And lying, hiding their agenda, and making promises they had no intention of keeping, is the natural exension of this fundamental truth about the people who have done this to us.

NYTimes Spills The Beans: ObamaCare Isn’t Health Care, It’s Redistribution Of (Your) Wealth

Posted on 11/24/2013

These days the word [redistribution] is particularly toxic at the White House, where it has been hidden away to make the Affordable Care Act more palatable to the public and less a target for Republicans, who have long accused Democrats of seeking “socialized medicine.” But the redistribution of wealth has always been a central feature of the law and lies at the heart of the insurance market disruptions driving political attacks this fall.

Joe the Plumber said it (redistribution)
Joe Wilson said it (You lie!)

They were correct.

Obama supporters are greedy people. They want to take from you what you earned. For some reason they think they deserve it because they can steam a mirror.

Dude..healthcare is by definition a redistribution of wealth scheme.

Everyone needs it at some point, and we don't check people's bank accounts before deciding whether to let them die outside the ER or let them in and save their lives. And everyone's care costs money, and the people with money are always going to end up covering the tab one way or another. And nobody can afford the full cost of their care out of pocket, especially when it gets really serious, which is why we have insurance - which anyway is a redistribution of premium dollars from healthy to sick people at any given time.

Because everyone is in the pool when it comes to healthcare, we have to find a way for everyone to contribute what they can.

I happen to know a person who is a small businessman. He just about flew threw the damn roof. When he recently realized what his premiums are going to be under this new supposedly inespensive health care bill.
Triple what he currently has. But stupid things that he does not need he is single. Does he need maternity care. Things he did have before he will not with this plan, so what the hell is this point.

He is not the only one that is finding out the truth of this bill. He is an acquaintence, but i know friends and some family who are pissed the hell off right now. Those who voted for this tool, realized this tool dupped them.

The coverage each of these people had, was so much better then what will be offered under OBAMACARE, still his baby?

I don't feel sorry for any Obama supporter who is getting screwed by Obamacare. They are getting what they damn well deserve. Maybe the next time they won't be so easy.

Don't believe everything you read.

The NY times is a satirical publication much like "The Onion" and should be treated as such.

It is NOT redistribution of wealth....it is redistribution of poverty....from those who have it to those who didn't!

Seriously, conservatives... how do you expect healthcare to work if we don't redistribute the cost burden amongst each other? Have you guys put any thought into this at all?

How do you justify taking up to 35% of someone's income (premiums and deductibles) to subsidize your care? We are talking folks who are middle class. If you can explain that to me I would appreciate it because nobody has been able to yet..
