It all proves to me that NONE of the "scientists" really KNOWS anything, they are just making educated (we hope) guesses (or, perhaps, "reasonable assumptions"), based on very flimsy evidence.
However, they ARE learning more every day. SOMEDAY they will have definitive conclusions.
But, not yet.

You only have to have one mostly Indian grandparent to be an Indian.

Most people with 3 grandparents of one kind, and just 1 grandparent of another kind will have most of their appearance from the 3.

It makes sense to me that people living in the frozen northern regions traveled to other frozen northern regions. I'm not sure why they all didn't move to southern nicer climates but if they were following prey, there are lot more land bridges in the far north. It's almost impossible that Vikings didn't travel along coasts to Iceland, Greenland, and to Canada.

The second surprise is that his DNA also matches a large proportion — about 25 percent — of the DNA of living Native Americans. The first people to arrive in the Americas have long been assumed to have descended from Siberian populations related to East Asians. It now seems that they may be a mixture between the Western Europeans who had reached Siberia and an East Asian population.

THIS will cause many people to think, especially those who are still mad about the white man coming to the US since many " full blood native" American Indians ARE part white by race.
Makes sense if the route of humans from Africa, to Europe, up thru Siberia, down thru Alaska along the west coast of North America, and then to Central America.
