Does anyone really care about or lionize Che Guevara anymore besides silly undergrads and college professors who haven't left the 60s and 70s?
What really goads me about Che was that he was a privileged son whose existential crisis led him to opportunities to act on what appears to have been deep down sociopathic tendencies. Yet he is hailed as a hero.
Worse thing you can do is walk around certain parts of Miami wearing a "Che" shirt.
What's the obsession with whether Che was good or bad.
Dude was a Cuban based Argentinean. He had no effect on us as Americans. None whatsoever.
You wanna wear a Che t shirt? No skin off my back.
Why do people fight about people of no consequence?
Why? Because leftist (Democratic party or further left) seem to idolize him and the party's policies and goals go toward socialist (at best) or fascist (at worst) which falls in line with people like him.

Sure does. To someone who gets all their information about the Tea Party from MSNBC.
Quote:
Violence, unquestioning dedication to a principle and quashing all dissent, refusal to compromise, ignoring any damages (including human) that may occur as a result of their actions, promoting carrying of firearms and the joy of killing, and racism.
All the high points.
What evidence is there of Tea Party violence?
What evidence is there of Tea Party racism?
What damage has occurred as a result of Tea Party actions?
What evidence is there of the Tea Party promoting or taking joy in killing?
Besides talking points, what actual facts do you have to back this up?

I am very left-wing (most of the time), but I don't subscribe to any of such statements. He was very radical, maybe even a sociopath or psychopath, just like Pol Pot and other radicals like that. They only give a good cause a bad name, thus I reject them.
Intelligent liberals won't share those views, it is a false accusation just like the one that they like Islam.

I suppose you take side with those same statements being representative of the TEA party, correct? That is far more false than what you object to.

And yet it was his flag/image within an Obama campaign office

I don't know and care about the Tea Party, it is just not part of my world...
