I'm not ready to commit either way; but, hammertime's link is to a different Obama letter.

Chomsky is an anarchist, not a socialist. However, he has sometimes called himself a "libertarian socialist," so I am betting you found that when you looked it up. And you know you looked it up.

And Gandhi was not a socialist at all.

If you think Obama is a socialist, you have no idea what a real socialist is, or what socialism actually proposes. You just call Obama a socialist because you brethren on the far right call him a socialist. You don't know what you're talking about, and neither do they.

That Sawant woman in Seattle is a self declared socialist.
She even told the Boeing union workers to just take over the plant and make buses for the people instead of "war machines".

It's not everyone else's fault that they were too stupid to know what it meant. Take personal responsibility for something for a change.
Obviously Obama slipped. This is what he is used to calling the tea party.

The term “tea-baggers” is used by the democratic party and democrat to ridicule the tea party, a group of American activists who advocate reducing taxes, shrinking the size of government, and returning to traditional family values.

He'll be remembered as classless, no doubt. Can't believe he actually took time to write a letter to anyone.
