Odd that so many have so much negative to say about the President yet seem to outright refuse the opportunity to watch him get interviewed on tv where he may provide some interesting answers to some of the important questions of the day,
However i guess if all one believes is that its all lies and media manipulation and have your preconcieved ideas on all issues cast in stone then by all means dont waste your time tuning in, you can tune into an overly biased recap on FOX news to garner the correct rightwing take on the interview rather than listen to the President himself and come to your own conclusions. ..

DH switches back and forth between MSNBC and Fox for the comparison in commentary (and usually to make fun of Maddow and Chris Mathews). It'd be worth it just to watch CM's body language in the presence of his man crush. Chris better be wearing Depends AND rubber pants.

Chris Matthews To Interview Obama Thursday
I don't understand the president's handlers letting him appear with Matthews. Although he can't govern worth a hill of beans, Obama has always been a good politician. But this seems like a big mistake to me. Matthews is not a respected journalist. Matthews is the loony attack dog guy who'll say anything. He's the guy you give extremist nutty things to say so you don't damage the reputation of your respectable people by having them say those things. Even other liberals think Matthews is an idiot. Nobody takes him seriously.

It's like having Bush do an interview with Rush Limbaugh.

I don't understand the thought behind this decision. Appearing with Matthews during a time when he's struggling to regain credibility? It just makes him look desperate.

Maybe this is a joke.

Obama has been exposed as a liar. Your post would make sense if we had a semi-respectable president. But this is Obama we're talking about. This is Barrack "If you like your insurance you can keep it, period" Obama. This is Barrack "I will veto any attempt to get around sequestration, except sequestration is all the Republicans' fault" Obama. This is Barrack "I am outraged at the actions of the IRS and will get to the bottom of it" Obama. This is Barrack "I never drew a red line" Obama. This is Barrack "No lobbyists will serve in my administration" Obama. This is Barrack "The attack on Benghazi was a spontaneous demonstration over a youtube video" Obama. This is Barrack "Eric Holder knew nothing about fast and furious" Obama. This is Barrack "The police acted stupidly" Obama.

At this point even liberals are calling Obama a liar. You have to be deaf, dumb, and blind to trust anything Obama says.

A president told a lie! OMG! Stop the presses. You folks will only accept a lying president when he`s murdering our troops. What`s up with that?

Because Obama promised "a change you can believe in".

Indeed. With all of the cooperation he`s had since day one of his administration I would have thought we would be doing better. Ok, he told a lie that affected 1% of the population at best. As scandals go, this is another one that didn`t achieve the results you people are looking for. You might want to tee up Benghazi again.
