true. Gun control and minimum wage are two of the top all time diversionary topics for liberal politicians. As I always say, if they wanted to help low-wage workers, they would propose a subsidized wage support similar to the subsidized price supports that are in place for farmers.

Low commodity prices received by farmers and low wages received by unskilled workers present identical problems, but two different solutions have been enacted. Why? The farmers are an organized group with clout in DC, and have obtained a solution that their analysts have confirmed will actually help them. The low wage workers are not organized, and the solution of fiat minimum wage as proposed by people like Obama is essentially a publicity stunt designed to help Obama, not the workers.

Since most people can do math, this is a dumb tangent. The GOP, libertarians, and the few classic liberals left among the Democrats should focus like a laser on abolishing the destructive/evil ObamaCare.

The emperor has no clothes......and is tone-deaf as well.

Anything to get the focus off of Obamacare, especially since that Dec. 31st deadline is right around the corner.

Hasn't it always been, get the focus off of any one of his many scandals, pick a one, which one. That he knows nothing about, blame the other guys, focus on another topic.

Most of us have his number.

Notice how he is always looking into something, will get back to us first thing, when they learn something new.

You mean all them "phoney scandals?"
Startin' to pile up, aren't they?
Move along; nothing to see here.

It will be interesting to see how he handles the rest of December. The Obamacare disaster is just beginning, and yet BarryO wants to talk about the economy, immigration reform, and how he wants to be the next Mandela.

This guy is an ADD-afflicted procrastinator.

but if anyone tried to organize low-wage workers for such a proposal, wouldn't conservatives call that class warfare and say taxpayers can't afford it?

If not enough people sign up for Obamacare - and it currently looks like not enough people are signing up - won't premiums necessarily skyrocket, and wouldn't that implode Obamacare?
