You don't agree with me which is why you don't take me seriously. I pretty much relate what most progressives in this country say when it comes to this issue so apparently, it's nonsense when you don't agree with it.

And how many of these burger and burrito flippers are even here legally? Often when I go to a fast food place, English is not spoken.

It's been a long time coming and the reason why I support the fast food workers is because it could be a catalyst to waking up people to this fact that NONE of you can wrap your minds around or debase.

Get over it!
Really amazing how many people seem perfectly content with how wages have stagnated the last two decades.
Study after study proves how little growth there has been at every level excepting the very top and yet they still somehow believe that it is better to maintain the status quo, keep wages low and supplement those same wages out of their own pockets via SNAP, etc. rather than maybe pay another $.25 for a burger.
Totally illogical.

$15/hour won't get them off SNAP.

Closer to $30/hour to get a family of 4 off SNAP, Medicaid and free lunch.
Single person doesn't get welfare benefits.
And the argument is that people working min wage and on welfare will leave welfare if their wages are raised.

So that puts it at $30/hour for a less than 30 hour workweek.

Because they spend all day in the circle jerk of right wing media which tells them how much smarter and harder working they are then those stupid, lazy entitled liberals.

Oh great we moved to P&OC. Let's bring all the rest of the Marxists, dope smoking sociology professors, and foreign provacateurs out of the woodwork to promote confiscation of corporate profits, keynesian witchcraft, higher taxes, bloated and corrupt federal bureaucracies that set wage levels, more free crap for worthless layabouts, cutesy tea bagger references, gold plated benefits for toilet scrubbers, bolshevik revolutions, nationalization of all industry, lauding of pissant south american banana republic dictators, state control of the means of production, forced readings of Das Kapital in grade school, eugenics for southern states, bashing in bourgeoisie skulls with cudgels, and turning the U.S. into an anti-free-market authoritarian soviet command economic wasteland.

And I thought we had our hands full with the commie pukes in the Houston forum.

This ought to get interesting.
