This is old news and the IBM part remains speculation. Politifact reported this back in 2011 citing Newt Gingrich as the source.

I did not change that link title. Thats how the link has titled it. But obama and dems are the goverment. You have proof a republican turned down the offer?

Do you really wonder or are you being sarcastic? Somebody got campaign contributions or someone's relative got a job or someone got a great tip on a hot investment. You know how these things work. Everyone does.
