Unlike blacks, Latinos and Asians have shown that they are willing to vote Republican so even if the white vote is shrinking it can recoup the votes with these other demographics. It has to do with the right candidate though.

I doubt that the GOP can capture much more of the Latino vote unless they give their ethnic group here illegally a pass on our immigration laws. If they do that then both parties would be selling our country out for votes from a self-interest group rather than adhering to our laws and putting this nation and our own citizens first.

Is the Latino vote up for grabs? Stanford pollster says no

Uh; you're grasping for straws here. I say that because Blacks ain't making enough babies to replace those dying and more and more light skin "Black" people like quadroons are self ID'ing as "white" Too; many "Hispanics" ARE white and if things hit the fan, they'll play DOWN their Indian roots. Back in the day, us "Irish" were NOT counted as "white", we were called the "N word".

Immigration Reform Bill 2013: Obama Says Piecemeal Is A Deal

You see, the repug congress has "pulled the plug" on, and back-burnered, this "extremely important issue". Reason? They want no reform, especially if it contains a path to citizenship. Instead, utilizing more draconian measures, they want to punish the brown people whom their white base fears are "taking over".
They complain loudly about an illegal immigration "problem" only when dems are in office, then quietly keep it as a wedge issue not to be spoken of when they themselves have the power to change it. The corporate media, and especially Fox, goes right along with them hand-in-glove. No wonder y'all don't know what's going on.
Exactly. Obama led the Hispanics to believe that he would highly reward them for breaking the laws and coming here and working here illegally. They missed the part that he had a way to blame Republicans if he didn't make it happen.

Obama is a cheap labor globalist. I have no doubt that he wouldn't add in 30 million cheap uneducated foreigners to the legal labor pools and keep the borders open for more illegals to replace them in their former jobs. He also promised the Hispanics "family reunification" so that they could legally start bringing in all their long lost relatives --- all those people they were glad to leave behind when they wanted to come here for the easy money but now they too want in on the deal and w ant to join their relatives here.

Obama opened the borders to cheaper Mexican truck drivers now too. He's done a lot for the Hispanics but a lot isn't good enough. They want their unlimited immigration and they're going to pout because they don't have it yet.

But you're right --- no way are the illegals conservative. They have zero respect for this country's laws but they demand a big reward for breaking it's laws.

I tend to think that the republicans aren't willing to give the passport away so freely and give illegals every right that every American enjoys. They are not blocking the path to citizenship. They want conditions to that path and they want to know what Obama will do to secure the borders. Obama has already given illegals free access and a pass to many things.

If Obama had his way he would give every illegal the same rights as every American and the passport printing presses would be working at high speed to insure that every illegal is made a citizen overnight. Now that his term will be up and will be leaving the WH, he isn't pushing the immigration issue because he doesn't need ANYONEs vote. Obama lead illegals to believe that he had the power to give them want they wanted. Surprise - he doesn't have the power (and he knew it when he was lying to them).
So working with repugs is "caving".
Thanks to repug obstructionism, Obama has gotten little of what he wants and what he was elected for. Remember, you righties love to say "elections have consequences" - except when it doesn't go your way.

Still in denial, eh. Still ignoring the little fact that repugs have done zilch about illegal immigration because their corporate base loves the cheap labor and they could also keep it as a wedge issue to beat down democrats when it served their purposes - as they are doing now. Just so, so phony.

And how about your RW hypocrisy? So Obama is now an extremely republican "cheap-labor globalist" eh? What happened to "liberal commie socialist" - you just trot either version out when it serves the moment?
In their desperation, only short-attention-span, hate-filled, myopic Fox/Limbaugh dittoheads can't see through their own lies. Amazing.

The kids filed into class Monday morning. They were all very excited.

Their weekend assignment was to sell something, and then give a talk on salesmanship. Little Sally led off. "I sold Girl Scout cookies and I made $30" she said proudly. "My sales approach was to appeal to the customer's civil spirit, and I credit that approach for my obvious success."

"Very good", said the teacher.

Little Debbie was next. "I sold magazines" she said. "I made $45 and I explained to everyone that magazines would keep them up on current events.

"Very good, Debbie", said the teacher.

Eventually, it was Little Johnny's turn. The teacher held her breath.

Little Johnny walked to the front of the classroom, and dumped a box full of cash on the teacher's desk. "$2,467", he said.

"$2,467!" cried the teacher, "What in the world were you selling?"

"Toothbrushes", said Little Johnny.

"Toothbrushes" echoed the teacher. "How could you possibly sell enough tooth brushes to make that much money?"

"I found the busiest corner in town", said Little Johnny. "I set up a Dip & Chip stand, and I gave everybody who walked by a free sample."

They all said the same thing: "Hey, this tastes like dog poop!" Then I would say, "It is dog poop. Wanna buy a toothbrush?" --I used the President Obama method of giving you some crap, dressing it up so it looks good, telling you it's free, and then making you pay to get the bad taste out of your mouth."

Little Johnny got five stars for his assignment. Bless his little heart.

Irish and Italians were never considered non-white.

Sorry Pubs. Your bigoted, anti-Hispanic ideology is not winning any fans. You're in a free fall with no end in sight, having failed to discredit this President with deceptive marketing about the ACA. Any Obama disapproval rating that you cling to doesn't change this reality.

??? What's anti-Hispanic about it? I'm not anti-Hispanic, I'm pro-working class.

This level of stupidity is exactly why Hispanics are starting to hate Democrats.
