Emails were released that the admin knew in July that Obamacare would not be ready for small business. When Ted Cruz tried warning that Obamacare was not ready which by the way includes the Obamacare website. But Obama and his administration refused to delay even willing to allow a shut down of the government.
Now members of congress who are having trouble signing up are asking for a delay.
If they will believe lies repeated enough maybe they will come to learn the truth repeated often enough.
Perhaps they will pause to look at it with open eyes one day.
Funny how the so-called "shutdown" and debt ceiling was so hyped, but the debt ceiling debacle seemed to just be a continuation of this, which was hardly discussed. It was passed very quickly with escrows setup for congressional payroll as well. H.R.325- 113th Congress (2013-2014): No Budget, No Pay Act ...
quote:
Suspends through May 18, 2013, the current $16.394 trillion public debt limit.
That's unfathomable. No human knows what a trillion really is in a literal sense. None can count that far out in a lifetime and one will never view a trillion of anything.
Where does it go?
If Obama insists on another Shutdown in January, he won't be able to "punish" the American public so easily - there don't tend to be so many people trying to visit National Parks, National Cemeteries, and National Monuments in January. He send all the Barricade Brigade he chooses to block roads, scenic overlooks and open air/never monitored Monuments he chooses ……. Nobody will notice.
Bring it on. He can have his Temper Tantrum in silence.
•The Koch brothers and their employees are the biggest oil and gas donors to lawmakers sitting on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. They contributed $279,500 to 22 of the committee’s 31 Republicans and $32,000 to five Democrats.
•Nine of the 12 new Republicans on the panel signed the Koch-funded Americans for Prosperity “No Climate Tax” pledge that opposed any government action to reduce carbon dioxide pollution.
•Koch front-group Americans for Prosperity spent over $200,000 on ads to help key Energy and Commerce Committee members in the 2010 elections. Five of the six GOP freshman lawmakers on the panel benefited from the group’s separate advertising and grassroots activity during the 2010 campaign.
•Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI) received $20,000 from Koch employees in 2010, making them among his top 10 donors.
Yeah, these guys are not biased and on the up and up. Oooh, but their title sounds sooooo official they must be taken seriously and we all know that the Koch grinches have already spent millions to fight The ACA.
Follow the money...always.
