Not really. If you have no debt then that figure could suffice.
House paid off, car paid off, live rural with septic and well.

I don't work now (well I do sub/tutor in schools but don't need the money) so if you gave me an extra $1500 a month I still wouldn't work.

Is it that hard to see my location in the upper right of my posts?

Water pumps do not last forever......either does waters wells.

Be sure and save a little each month.......repairs/replacements can be pricy.

I hear people from people many times a year who can not afford the repairs.

Sometimes I can help by using their house insurance.........sometimes not.

Agreed. I live in Bullhead City and housing here is cheap. Too; in Arizona if a person's income is under about 1,400 dollars a month, they qualify for free health care.

Why all that matters is so many people once they hit about 50 years old, employers DON'T want to hire them unless they have super duper skills. Too, going back to school at that age many times is crazy with student loan debt to pay off.

I already live off $1,500 a month and in Southern California to boot.

My rent, insurance, food, and monthly expenses (haircut, clothes, etc) probably comes out to $1,500 a month.

No tv, "steal" Internet, no debt, no car, no wife/kids...life is simple and good.

I'd gladly live off a $1,500 gift each month. If I had more spare time I bet I could cut my expenses down even more.

$1500. in Seattle doesn't go far. You could do it in the south or midwest though. I bet $1500. in Oklahoma is a lot of money.

Maybe because most that answered yes are actually "righties". And, some leftists that realize the agenda of your poll are going to vote yes as well.

LoL at the OP's weak attempt. Socialism in the way liberals want it is not the answer and has never worked. Never.

Yes, i am fully aware that there are already some socialistic aspects in America. Yes, i am aware of the Nordic countries. But, as anyone in the know knows, those countries are tiny. Have vast natural resources that they are using to support the socialistic ways. Not comparable to the US in any way, shape or form.
