They don't vet their studies at all for sanity or accuracy, so I really don't want to waste my time going through another set of dumbass crap they decided to print. Even then, if it's a scientific study...they already stated scientists are evil (in the previous link). Either it's not an actual study, or they are reporting something they believe is evil.

This isn't 3x4 is 3.63...this is 3x4 is Captain America is beaming dog rays into their brain.

It's like listening to a raving lunatic on a street corner and because they say something you agree with. It's a bias called the confirmation bias. It's well known, and not new. It's where any lunatic or moron can come off the street and people agree because they say what they like to hear.

I've noticed it with men too.

Women originally took it up because men find a question less threatening than a statement from women. So women altered their speech to sound like they were ALWAYS asking a question.

I don't know why men adopted it.

I don't notice it at all here really. You do get the occasional fem dude but overall not so much. The further away from the beach you get the less you hear it.

My gay neighbors, for the most part, don't even sound like that.

I regularly hear guys in Southern California say, "Riigghht?" as a way of agreeing with something that's been said by someone else. It's a little annoying. Do guys in other parts of the country speak that way?

Californian men are some of the biggest liberal pansies in the country. Of course they talk and act like women.

Uptalking (or any other local ways) is a regional thing most notably from the San Fernando Valley. It's NOT a sex thing. YOU WILL talk like those around you whether you like it or not. You do, even if you don't realize it. And you don't sound as manly as you imagine yourself. Trust.

I'm so tired of macho conservatives whining about how men are not manly enough.
