Well then I guess your state of Alaska is simply a complete refutation of both your posts then isn't it? As it has argued using same principles AGAINST the greed of the U.S. as a whole. The nerve of those "idiots".

You should also realize that most of the continental shelf regs exist today through MANY of your presidential declarations/proclamations; you know, those things your presidents just decide to unilaterally "proclaim" into maritime laws.

Well then I owe you an apology don't I? I ASSumed incorrectly as the word greedy was being applied to Canada and Russia while excluding the U.S.

Now you can add a third country to your "greedy idiots" list.

I don't know if the US claims the arctic, too. Nor am I familiar with the history of Alaska. But of course I apply my views to every country as I am a fairness freak.

This one is interesting and found out the north pole refuse's to stay put. It moves around. Looking at everything and not knowing too much about it, including Russia planting a flag a few years ago and Canada's position going back to the twenties,

the only thing that makes sense is to bird eye the thing , and draw pie shaped lines from all the countries boundaries in the vicinity toward the exact point , having the exact point continue the moving around . trying to change mother nature never works. the north pole is simply not interested in being fenced up and owned .

thats the problem , there is no emperor of the world to say to any country that complains, when you show on the globe in school for future generations your boundaries to be made known by ocean floor we'll have a look but for now the waste of time arguing and all that costing money is over, set up camp. They can't figure this out in an afternoon something is wrong.
