And just think. The world has survived for thousands of years without a "World Leader." Somehow I think mankind today would as well.

The world elite is descending on South Africa for Mandela's funeral - including past and present leaders from 100+ world countries, Ted Cruz, Oprah, and the Pope.
Don't you think this already occurred to the world's security professionals and they took appropriate precautions?

The speed with which these funerals come together also creates logistical difficulties for terrorist groups.

However, it was no mystery that 95yo mandela would likely pass in a few years and a well organized group could have laid the groundwork in anticipation of the event and gathering of world leaders.

I'm sure that what is obvious to us in a few minutes of discussion has already been considered by those whose jobs it is to prepare for \ prevent things like this....but that may not be enough.

And apparently the guy standing right beside those leaders when they were giving their eulogy speeches providing sign language for the deaf was a fake of the worst order, so ........ how did he get past any security screening?

That is unbelieveable. I hope they keep the public informed on their investigation.

You do realize Ted Cruz will be the next President of the USA, don't you?

I saw that, but apparently he has provided sign language at other official functions in the past. It wasn't until he was on the global stage that they found out he wasn't very good. That's what I read anyway, kinda sad and funny at the same time.
