Face book and Twitter both are entering into partnerships with websites that require you to use either to log into their sites. I won't do it... that way I can spend more time here with all the lovely people on CD.
Yep, same here. I don't do fb, so any site that requires it falls off my radar.
Okay let's paint the picture here. Look at what has been reported for years with all the alphabets investing and extracting data, then let's look at FB IPO. Then let's notice all the recent consolidation of login accounts available everywhere now. Can't forget the govt investment funds in these publicly traded companies either. FB alone is 61% institutional ownership. Same old players. Pretty obvious.

HuffPo is garbage and you're better off not reading it. Try HotAir or Little Green Footballs, you'll find you don't get stupid like you do reading HuffPo.
Well don't forget that Huf Post is first and foremost a new aggregator, so you skip their briefs and go right to the original source or you read their brief and then Google a more reliable source. That is why it remains on my daily check list.

The thing is you can almost bet that the depth of what is really occurring isn't what is coming out. Things that go on in the dark can get pretty wild especially where technology is concerned.

I think they are trying to avoid exactly the types of troll posts that dominate the City-Data Politics section.
HuffPo has devolved into becoming another radical Left-wingnut cog in the Obamacrat propaganda machine. I'm sure HuffPo's Arianna is included in Obama's periodic closed-door meetings with certain members of the Journolist media.
Forget HuffPo and find a real independent news source if you want to be truly informed.
