Your assertion that, " You can't just ignore the law" is pure poppycock and based on nothing.
I'm simply quoting Democrats. Remember them shutting down the government when Republicans wanted to work to improve Obamacare? Nope, can't touch that, it's the law and it's settled. Yet now, both Dems and irresponsible Rs want to just ignore the law and do what is politically expedient. Guess what...there is a reason the people don't trust either to responsibly manage the money taken from us.

Hopefully, this means the beginning of one of two things, either the conservative party finally has this internal fight for power.

Or it means the conservative party elected leadership is maybe interested in public policy, which means compromising with the Party that controls the Senate and the Presidency, and actually passing bills.

Either development will be welcome although, I am personally pulling for the first option.

Remains to be seen if that was real or if it was wine bravado.

Rubio should just disappear. He screwed himself royally with the immigration reform bill. He couldn't distance himself from that box of dynamite if he had a 10 hour head start! His opinion means absolutely nothing from this point forward.

I didn't have to even click on the link to know it had to do with the water incident.

I have to say, he's terrible at public speaking, water aside.

What? Even Republicans have finally awoken to the fact that the GOP has been afflicted with a cancer? What coaxed them to pull their collective heads out of the sand?

Of course, the geriatric right wing Tea Party set will be utterly offended that they have finally been outed even by those they considered a necessary evil peer in their quest to turn the US into a hell hole that lacks any vision or any plan for the future except "No more taxes" or, more appropriately: "No investment in the future - after all, I'll be dead by then, so why pay for it? Hey, I'm on a fixed income and already benefitted from past spending. Taxed Enough Already!"

You see a pattern here?

Progressives love Progressives.

We are seeing Conservatives pushing the Progressives out of the party and 2014 will not reverse the trend.
