99% of Europeans do not think like a Texan, HappyTexan. So, explain this to me, any other right-winger feel free to jump in. Why does Denmark, with its hoopla of taxes and regulations; have a much lower unemployment rate, the people have a far higher quality of life against low tax, low regulation Ireland; which is in debt up to its eyeballs, and an economy that blew up in their face with 12.5% unemployment vs Denmark's 7% latest data?
Just for comparison's sake, Denmark has 5.6 million people that are 89% white (since right-wingers love obsessing over homogeneity, particularly [Germanic] white homogeneity), Massachusetts is 83% white with 6.6 million people. Both places are similar in land area, education attainment, income, etc. So, why does Massachusetts have an unemployment rate of 7.2%, and Denmark 7%? Keep in mind that Massachusetts has very low taxes and regulations compared to Denmark.
Have you seen the suicide rates for Denmark & Sweden?

Nothing to do with their political system, at all. Zip, but everything to do with the fact that the weather in both countries is very gloomy. The same trend can be seen in Alaska, you know, that epitome of conservative rugged individualism Might want to take some Imodium to stop the verbal diarrhea

Alaska has the 2nd highest suicide rate in the US at 23.1. Since BentBow brought politics into it, it'll be sad news for them to find out that the states with the lowest suicide rates in the US happen to be some of the most Democratic ones in the country
You don't get it. The core of American conservatism is exclusion. conservatives by necessity have to attack other Americans and that is why I expect you to do it.
Being upset over illegals using our resources they don't pay into is not attacking other Americans. They're illegal, Americans aren't.
HappyTexan has a point. People were very unhappy about the 'tax holiday' coming to an end.
They were surprised because Obama ran around saying:
"middle class will not pay one more dime in taxes". He conveniently didn't mention ...except for payroll taxes.
"if you like your insurance you can keep your insurance period" -> he left out unless Obama thinks you got bad apple insurance.
Same tactic, only say what is convenient politically.
