23 billion cuts in 10 years. Government promises sure those are solid.
Hmmmm and we think we will go 10 years without another war, and any other issues that the government likes to spend money on. Besides I still wonder when we will find out the true costs of Obamacare. What a joke.

hey but I guess ANY budget deal is good enough to give the illusion we have fiscal sanity.
Your not really fooling me or the rest of the world when they drop our credit rating again soon and the economic collapse that is coming. I wonder if we will find magic money for bailouts again when it comes crashing down soon. Though I'm not sure that will work this time.

$2.3 billion a year ? What a joke.

Bernanke is pumping $80 billion a month into the system to keep it breathing.

What got me was Paul and Murray attempting to be civil to one another. Even Murray couldn't help herself when she added "Don;t get me wrong, I still root for the other team!" Wait, I thought we were all supposed to be on the same team! Washington is so dysfunctional at this point.

As for this deal. Rand Paul is absolutely correct: “I cannot support a budget that raises taxes and never balances, nor can I support a deal that does nothing to reduce our nation’s $17.3 trillion debt,” Paul said in a statement released later Wednesday

Why is it so difficult for Democrats to stop spending us into bankruptcy? And why do the old party Republicans always turn into testicular challenged muffs when making these grand bargains?

Conservative Hill Analysis Slams Murray-Ryan Deal | National Review Online
Time to get rid of them all and start over. I think they are so far in over thier heads they see no way out other than to maintain or increase spending until it all collapses.

Amazing. $2.3 billion a year.

Medicare fraud alone is likely to exceed $60 billion a year, yet that goes unaddressed.

This budget deal is significant way beyond its modest numbers.

It is an example of old-fashioned bipartisanship. Each side gives a little on their priorities to get things done.

It's an example that our divided government can still function... Like a democracy!

That REFUTES a fundamental tenet of the Right. And THAT'S why conservatives are squealing.

No, people are squealing because it is ridiculous.
